Soon Muslim fasting month of Ramadan will run for 1 full month. Muslims welcome Ramadan joyfully.
Fasting means to refrain from hunger, thirst, and lust. In a day, Muslims must fast kurnag over 14 hours. Begins at dawn time between 4:30 until sunset around 06.00 pm. Quite a long time also the fasting in this day?
The question that often arises in our mind is whether fasting can affect the skin? How fasting can damage the health of the skin?
DR. Elandari Sulastomo, Sp. KK describes in his book Beautiful Skin & Healthy 2, that during the month of fasting, our bodies do a lot of adjustments, which sometimes makes the body and face appear sluggish because body fluids are available relatively not enough to supply the energy, while the daily activity is still running as usual.
Then how should we do to keep skin healthy and remain attractive appearance? Should we not follow the fasting to keep the skin healthy and attractive appearance? Certainly not the answer.
Skin Care During Fasting Month
Below are tips to keep your skin to stay healthy and charming during the fasting month.
Actually, skin care during the fasting month is equal to skin care is done everyday. Consists of 3 phases: cleansing, moisturizing, and protection. But keep in mind is a skin condition that is relatively less water (dehydration), due to reduced fluid in the body.
