Eleven Paris company sells shirts, T-shirts, backpacks, packs of mobile phones and other products featuring celebrities class A without permission.
Beyonce, Jay Z, Kanye West, Pharrell Williams and Rihanna have joined forces to demand a garment retailer Paris which they had "dared" to sell shirts, T-shirts, backpacks, packs of mobile phones and other products that display them without permission.
The lawsuit, filed on Tuesday (6/10) in federal court in New York said that ElevenParis has ignored the warnings of the singer to stop the sale, including a store in the Soho district of Manhattan, and on its website.
The artist was accused ElevenParis and its affiliates over "intellectual property violations are deliberate and repeated without depriving copyright authorization, characteristics and other rights of top celebrities."
ElevenParis not immediately respond for comment on the matter.
Those products include clothing featuring the faces of the singers and words like "Kanye is my Homie" and "Pharrell is my Brotha," and the lyrics Beyonce and Rihanna.
ElevenParis actions "have caused irreparable danger" to the plaintiffs, who want to earn a profit and compensation for alleged copyright infringement and rights of publicity, according to the lawsuit.
Each artist also has his own clothing label or in collaboration with garment manufacturers, according to the lawsuit, which bring in sales worth "hundreds of millions of dollars."
